Discover the numerous virtues and benefits of reciting Surah Yasin.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Quran is Yasin. Whoever reads Yasin, Allah will record for him the reward of reading the Quran ten times.' (Tirmidhi)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever reads Surah Yasin at night seeking Allah's pleasure, Allah will forgive him.' (Ibn Hibban)
It is narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Recite Yasin over your dying.' (Abu Dawud, Nasai) This brings comfort to the soul at the time of departure.
Scholars have said that whoever reads Surah Yasin in the morning, their needs for that day will be fulfilled, and whoever reads it at night, their needs for that night will be fulfilled.
Regular recitation of Surah Yasin brings peace to the heart, removes anxiety, and provides spiritual protection from harm.
It is said that reciting Surah Yasin brings light and comfort to the deceased in their grave, easing the trials of the Hereafter.
According to the hadith mentioned above, reading Surah Yasin once earns the reward equivalent to reading the entire Quran ten times.
Many scholars recommend reading Surah Yasin before making dua (supplication), as it increases the likelihood of the prayer being accepted.
